Pljeskavica is a Serbian grilled dish made from a mixture of spiced minced pork, beef and lamb, considered one of the national dishes of Serbia and also popular in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro, as well as a common street food across Central and Eastern Europe including Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Slovenia. It is served as a main course with onions, kajmak, beans and sometimes ajvar and urnebes, either on a plate with side dishes or on lepinja flatbread as a type of hamburger.
