Fruits and Fruit Products

Kiwano, also called the African horned cucumber, horned melon, spiked melon or jelly melon, is the fruit of Cucumis metuliferus, an annual vine of the cucumber and melon family native to southern Africa. Its horn-like spines give it the name horned melon, and the ripe fruit has orange skin with soft, lime-green flesh.
