Trilece

Trilece is a popular dessert across Southeastern Europe, eaten widely in Albania, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo and other Balkan countries. It is a sponge cake soaked in a mixture of three kinds of milk, evaporated, condensed and whole, a preparation whose name comes from the Spanish tres leches, meaning three milks. It is typically topped with caramel or fruit sauce and is generally lighter than its Latin American tres leches counterpart because of the particular milks used.
