Caprese Salad

Caprese salad is an Italian salad of sliced fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil, seasoned with salt and olive oil or balsamic vinegar. It takes its name from the island of Capri, where it is said to have originated, and gained international recognition in the 1950s.
