Kuru fasulye is a stewed bean dish in Turkish cuisine made primarily from white beans and olive oil, almost always with onion and tomato paste or tomato sauce, and sometimes with other vegetables or meat, especially the cured beef pastirma. It is often served with cacik and rice or bulgur, and is widely considered the national dish of Turkey.
