This category is the index of the atlas's own Holidays and Observances entities: the food and drink customs tied to a recurring calendar date, from a harvest festival to a feast day built around a particular dish or drink. Each entry describes what is eaten or drunk, when, and why. The specific dietary rule or preparation custom a holiday enforces is filed separately, under the Observance Rules category below it, rather than repeated here.
