Ekwang is a Cameroonian and Nigerian dish native to the Bakweri, Bafaw and Oroko peoples and to communities in Cross River State and Akwa Ibom State, made from freshly grated cocoyams wrapped in cocoyam leaves. Other ingredients can include fresh or smoked fish, meat, palm oil, crayfish, periwinkle and seasoning.
