Quzi

Rice, Grain and Starch Dishes

Quzi is a rice based dish considered one of the national dishes of Iraq, made from lamb slow cooked until tender and served over rice together with roasted nuts and raisins. Although it originates in Iraq, the dish, also spelled qoozi, ghuzi or ghoozi, is also eaten in the Arab states of the Persian Gulf, including the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
