Ofada rice

Ofada rice is a Yoruba Nigerian dish and the name of an indigenous rice named for the small community of Ofada, in the Obafemi Owode local government area of Ogun State. It is grown more broadly across southwest Nigeria on free-draining soil where the water table stays permanently below the plant's roots, and the rice, often sold as blends that also include non-African varieties, is used to make a variety of dishes.
