Frikkadel

Frikkadel is a traditional Afrikaner dish of meatballs, usually baked but sometimes deep fried, prepared with onion, bread, eggs, vinegar and spices and served hot or cold. Many modern recipes put a twist on the traditional beef based recipe by using chicken or lamb instead, and frikkadel are also popular in Sri Lankan cuisine through the Burgher people.
