A crêpe is a thin, unleavened batter cake cooked on a frying pan or griddle, originating in French cuisine. It comes in both sweet and savory versions and can be filled or topped with ingredients such as cheese, fruit, vegetables or meat, including the flambéed preparation known as crêpes Suzette.
