Manoomin Porridge

Manoomin porridge, also known as wild rice porridge, is a breakfast dish in Minnesotan cuisine inspired by Native American foodways, built around wild rice known as manoomin. The dish combines wild rice with dairy, dried fruits, nuts and maple syrup, and was invented at the Hell's Kitchen restaurant in Minneapolis, though it can now be found at restaurants throughout the state.
