Clove

Spices, Herbs and Seasonings

Cloves are the aromatic flower buds of a tree in the myrtle family, native to the Maluku Islands, or Moluccas, in Indonesia, commonly used as a spice, flavoring or fragrance in consumer products such as toothpaste, soap and cosmetics. Because different countries harvest at different times of year, freshly harvested cloves are available throughout the year.
