A cholera is a savory pastry from the Valais region of Switzerland, filled with potatoes, vegetables, fruit and cheese. Traditional versions combine ingredients such as apples, pears, potatoes, onions, leeks, raclette cheese, usually the Gomser variety, and bacon inside the pastry.
