Hwajeon, also called kkotbukkumi or kkotjijimi, is a small Korean pan-fried rice cake made from glutinous rice flour, honey and edible seasonal flower petals such as rhododendron. It is traditionally eaten during the Samjinnal festival and on Buddha's Birthday.
