Bannu Pulao

Rice, Grain and Starch Dishes

Bannu pulao, also called Bannu beef pulao or Banuse pulao, is a traditional mixed rice dish from the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan, made with beef, rice, spices and stock. The beef is cooked with bones and marrow for a rich flavor while the rice is cooked separately with ghee, salt and whole spices, and the finished dish is garnished with onions, green chilies and lemon wedges.
