Menemen

Menemen is a popular traditional Turkish dish of eggs, tomato, and green peppers cooked in olive oil with spices such as ground black and red pepper, usually served with bread as a breakfast staple. Onions are sometimes added, more often when menemen is served as a main course rather than at breakfast. The dish takes its name from Menemen, a town in Izmir Province, Turkey.
