Bread Pakora

Roasted, Grilled and Fried Dishes

Bread pakora is a deep fried or pan fried Indian street food made by dipping bread slices, often filled with mashed potato in a sandwich style, into a spiced gram flour batter and frying them until crisp. It is served with tamarind or cilantro lime chutney, or with ketchup, and is also known regionally as bread bhaji or bread bajji. It remains a popular, affordable snack across the Indian subcontinent.
