Kuli-kuli

Kuli-kuli is a Nigerian snack made primarily from peanuts, first made by the Nupe people of Nigeria and now popular across Nigeria, Benin, northern Cameroon and Ghana. It is a byproduct of peanut oil extraction, made from the pressed peanut residue with oil, salt and sometimes black pepper and spices. It can be eaten alone or with cassava flakes and water, or used as a ground ingredient in dishes such as suya and kilishi.
