Es doger is an Indonesian dessert drink built on coconut milk that has been sweetened and frozen into shaved ice. It is pink in color, which comes from rose syrup, cocopandan syrup or simple pink food coloring poured over the ice. The shaved ice is served in a glass or bowl with a mixed set of toppings: red tapioca pearls, slices of avocado, fermented cassava, fermented black glutinous rice, jackfruit and diced bread, and the whole thing is finished with condensed milk, which may be plain white or chocolate-flavoured. The dish is a specialty of Bandung in West Java. It is commonly sold from travelling vendor carts in large Indonesian cities, mainly Bandung, Jakarta, Malang and Surabaya. It sits in the same family of Indonesian iced desserts as es campur, es teler and cendol.
