Goi cuon, also known as nem cuon, salad roll, summer roll, fresh spring roll or rice paper roll, is a Vietnamese dish traditionally consisting of pork, prawn, vegetables and bun rice vermicelli wrapped in banh trang rice paper. Unlike similar rolls that are fried, such as the Vietnamese cha gio, goi cuon are served fresh at room temperature or cooled and are not cooked on the outside.
