Gulab Jamun

Gulab jamun is a sweet dessert, or mithai, that originated in the Indian subcontinent, made from a milk-solid based dough that is fried and then soaked in sugar syrup. It is especially popular in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan, and remains common among South Asian communities worldwide.
