Dibi is a Senegalese dish of fire grilled meat, seasoned and cut into pieces, typically served with grilled or raw onions, mustard and bread. Its name is a Soninke word for barbecue, and it is commonly sold by street vendors in Senegal and Mali, including at dedicated eateries in Dakar called dibiteries, many run by Hausa immigrants from Nigeria.
