Baba de camelo

Baba de camelo, whose name literally means camel drool, is a traditional Portuguese mousse dessert made from condensed milk and eggs, typically topped with crushed almonds or cookies. According to popular legend it was invented in the early 20th century by a Portuguese woman who improvised the mousse from ingredients on hand after unexpected guests arrived, choosing the unappetizing name either to draw attention from the guests or to discourage them from eating it all. Though Portuguese in origin, it has also become popular in Brazil.
