Ground Meat

Minced meat

Ground meat, called mince or minced meat outside North America, is meat finely chopped by a meat grinder or chopping knife; a common type is ground beef, but pork, veal, lamb, goat meat and poultry are also prepared this way. This entity is used when a dish's own infobox names ground or minced meat generically as a main ingredient without stating the animal, distinct from the atlas's already-carried generic Meat entity, which covers an unground cut, and from a specific named meat already carried as its own entity.
