Water

Generic ingredient

Water is a transparent, tasteless, odorless and nearly colorless chemical substance with the formula H2O, vital to all known life and widely used in cooking, washing and industrial processes as an excellent solvent for a wide variety of substances. This entity is used when a dish's own infobox names water itself as a stated main ingredient (for example, a dough or batter recipe), distinct from every other named ingredient already carried in this atlas.
